Many South Asians in the West name what's missing as loneliness, or community, or the warmth of home. But I've come to see something else underneath all of that — a deeper missing that no external circumstance can fill. This is about the nectars, the ehsaas, the inner richness we carried in our bodies before we left — and what it takes to find our way back to it.
