Psychospiritual Therapy FAQ — Online Holistic Therapy in California
Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy
What should I expect from therapy?
Therapy is a sacred journey, and I’m honored to walk alongside you. Together, we will explore the places where you feel stuck or are seeking change. My role is to offer guidance, support, and tools to help you access your own healing and inner strength. While therapy can sometimes be challenging and uncomfortable, it ultimately leads to greater joy, freedom, creativity, and self-love. This transformational work is a beautiful process of reclaiming your authentic self.
How long are sessions?
Each therapy session typically lasts 45 to 50 minutes.
How often should I attend sessions?
Most people find weekly therapy sessions to be most effective. Weekly meetings provide time to integrate insights, practice new skills, and address challenges as they arise. This consistent rhythm supports meaningful and lasting change.
For some, less frequent “maintenance” sessions every few weeks work well to prevent slipping back into old patterns. We will tailor the frequency to best suit your needs and goals.
Do you accept insurance?
I’m not currently in-network with insurance providers. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies, so please check with your insurance provider about telehealth sessions and out-of-network reimbursement for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
How much do therapy sessions cost?
Therapy sessions are $250 for 45–50 minutes.
I understand financial situations vary and offer reduced fees for those with financial need. Please feel free to discuss this with me privately.
Payment can be made via all major credit cards, including HSA cards.
Important:All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth and are available only to clients residing in California.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I provide therapy exclusively via telehealth (video or phone). Online therapy offers a flexible and convenient way to engage in your healing from wherever you are in California.
What if I have more questions?
If you have more questions, feel free to contact me anytime with your questions or to schedule a consultation. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
