Therapy FAQ


What should I expect from therapy?

Our work together is sacred and it is my honor to accompany you on your journey. I bring my experience and knowledge to meet your self knowledge and understanding. We team up together to support you in moving through the places where you are stuck or are wanting change. I believe that guidance and support can help you to tap into your own health and healing. Therapy can be uncomfortable at times and difficult work, and I’ve found this process of coming more into your joy, creativity, freedom and love as a beautiful treasure that can be found in our work together.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

Do you take insurance? 

I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies.  If you have out of network benefits, I can provide you with an ‘out of network’ superbill. You can submit this to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your insurance.  Please note that not all insurance companies will reimburse, so please contact your insurance carrier for more information and see if you can receive coverage for an out-of-network provider who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

What happens if I need to cancel my session?

There is a 48 hour cancellation or rescheduling policy. Please provide cancellation at a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations without the 48 hour notice will be charged full fee.

What will it cost me?

Please note: All therapy sessions are conducted virtually and are limited to those residing in the state of California.

My session fee is $200 for a 50 minute session.

I do consider a lower fee when there is a financial need. Please let me know your financial concerns and we will go from there.

All major credit cards (including HSA account cards) are accepted for payment.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. Telehealth can be a convenient option to receive counseling services when you are unable to attend in-person sessions. Due to Covid-19 all sessions are currently conducted online or over the phone.
