Where: Meet by the benches near the community center, Arlington Park, El Cerrito

What: We start with light stretching, followed by walking meditation and end with sitting meditation.

Coming Soon –  Rediscovering Our Feminine Essence: From Survival to Stillness and Abundance

Maybe you’re here because you have a longing in your heart, a yearning. You may or may not know what it is for.

Maybe you’re here because you’re really tired. Tired of surviving. Tired of making others happy while forgetting completely about yourself. Tired of feeling tired. Burned out. Anxious. Exhausted. Feeling empty.

Maybe you’re here because you’re blossoming and you want a community of women to blossom and grow with.

Yet you’re not looking for the same old talk, the same draining energy that comes from focusing on what’s wrong. You are searching for something far more important.

Aliveness. Vibrancy. Energy. Passion. Joy.

You may be searching for YOU — before you were forgotten. Remember her? Hopeful. Innocent. Alive.

Not compromising so much. Not just existing.

Free. To be.

What We Do Together

We sit together and ground in our bodies — settling the nervous system, becoming attuned to what’s actually arising beneath the noise of the week.

This group is oriented toward inner exploration. We follow the natural unfolding of what’s present — sometimes through a somatic practice we do together, sometimes simply by being with what’s been alive in your experience. We allow it to unwind. We become intimately attuned to ourselves — our longings, our hearts, and what’s asking to be worked out within us.

What happens is this: you’re not just growing in community, you’re showing up as YOU in community.

The truth is, we want to change the world around us. Yet the most empowered space is reclaiming ourselves within the world that binds us — especially when we cannot change what’s around us.

The Practical Details

When women gather in presence, something beautiful awakens.

This group is still taking shape — and I want it to grow organically with the women who show up for it.

To start: likely virtual, every other week, about 90 minutes. Open to women of all backgrounds and adult ages.

If something here is calling to you, fill out the interest form below. Your answers help me understand who you are and make sure this group is woven around what’s actually needed — not a template.

I’m looking for a small, committed core of women to begin. If that’s you, I’d love to hear from you.

Reclaiming our Inheritance – Introductory Workshop for South Asian and Middle Eastern Women

This workshop is designed to re-member and re-awaken the Eastern woman in her richness and beauty within us. Many of us have forgotten and left her behind that because of many reasons including westernization and also cultural oppression and wounds. Yet, she is dormant within us waiting to be remembered and to come to life in our daily lives again.

Reclaiming our Inheritance Workshop is over. I would love to hear from you though, as I’m currently uncertain how many people are interested in this as an ongoing group — likely meeting biweekly or monthly, virtually, to explore and reclaim the richness of Eastern women’s traditions together.

If you are interested, fill out this short form:

An atmospheric indoor corridor lined with traditional patterned South Asian and Middle Eastern textiles, warm oriental rugs, and glowing brass lanterns, symbolizing the ancestral sanctuary of the Reclaiming our Inheritance introductory workshop for women.

How do Eastern women return to the richness of our culture, especially with the western influence infiltrating world wide? How do we release what wasn’t working for us as Eastern women, but reclaim the goodness that we experienced from our traditions? Often the goodness is forgotten by us, as we “threw out the baby with the bath water”. If you would like to explore and ignite again what is YOURS and find your own unique path back to your richness and beauty, join us for this introductory workshop.

Join us for this workshop where you will:

  • Practice a short guided meditation(s) to center into the moment (meditation experience not necessary)
  • Discuss to remember again and enliven the richness of women from South Asian and Middle Eastern cultures
  • Receive and connect with guided visualization and transmission
  • Set intentions so you can take this forward into your life
